Recently, we went to Chaparral Elementary school and put on a Native American Cultural Awareness Presentation for the Kindergarten class. We had a blast and the kids did too! If you’d like to check out our videos and pictures from the day, take a look below.
Video Description: Here is a video clip from our day at Chaparral Elementary School in Calabasas California. We presented the children with pictures from modern Native American communities, as well as images of traditional Native American dress at Crow Fair. The kids got to watch a video from a pow wow and observe Native American dancing. We even taught them how to make fry bread and everyone got to try some!
We hope you enjoy.
Auntie’s Fry Bread got it’s initial boost from kickstarter.com. As a featured project, we were able to achieve our goal with the help of the community. On July 20th goal was reached and the next step of the journey began!
Auntie’s Fry Bread has been picked to be the featured food vendor for the Fleeting Immersion art show.
